Mr. Schoewe has been executive vice president and chief financial officer of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., since January 2000. Prior to joining Wal-Mart Stores, Mr. Schoewe spent 14 years at Black and Decker Corp., most recently as senior vice president and chief financial officer. Previously, he had a 12-year career with Beatrice Companies, where he was chief financial officer and controller of Beatrice Consumer Durables, Inc. A native of the Chicago area, Mr. Schoewe is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago, where he earned his B.B.A. degree in finance. He is a member of the Financial Executives International. |
