Mr. Flynn is responsible for national insurance operations, including Centex Insurance Agency and Commerce Title Insurance Company.
Mr. Flynn joined Centex Insurance Agency in 1988 as vice president of personal lines, and in 1992 was promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer. Three years later, he was promoted to president and chief executive officer and then to chairman in 2001.
Mr. Flynn's previous experience includes more than 22 years in the insurance industry. His career began with Safeco Insurance Company in Seattle as a sales manager, and most recently Mr. Flynn spent three years as vice president of marketing for American Bankers Insurance Group in Miami.
Mr. Flynn earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Flynn is involved with the Boy Scouts of America and currently serves as a director of both the Los Angeles and national councils, and has held the position of vice president of operations, vice president of administration and treasurer. |
