Ms. Alexander previously served as a senior advisor of UBS Securities and its predecessors (UBS). Before that time, beginning in January 1992, she served as a managing director of UBS, where she managed the Construction and Furnishings Group (North America) in the Corporate Finance Department. Prior to joining UBS, Ms. Alexander was a managing director in the corporate finance department of Salomon Brothers. Ms. Alexander is a past chairman of the Policy Advisory Board of the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University, is currently a member of that board's Executive Committee as well as an executive fellow of the Center. Ms. Alexander also serves as a director of Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) and Qualcomm Incorporated.
